I am standing as a candidate for the Green Party in the local council elections for the London Borough of Barnet on May 7th 2026, in High Barnet ward.
I live in Abbotts Road in New Barnet, near Highlands Gardens.
Most Green Party policies are long term measures aiming to reduce resource consumption and environmental degradation. In the short term as a councillor, I would try to bring more transparency to the council, reporting back on whatever meetings I am allowed to, and supporting whistle blowers who may have information about where things could be done better.
